Course Description
Course Code : INDR3020
This 3 day course is suitable for an experienced welder with the capability of achieving fillet and butt welds in plate in either
MMA
Manual Metal Arc. One of the most widely used welding processes. It involves striking an arc between a covered metal electrode and a workpiece.
MIG
Metal Inert Gas. Is an arc welding process that uses a continuous solid wire electrode heated and fed into the weld pool from a welding gun.
TIG
Tungsten Inert Gas. The process uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode that delivers the current to the welding arc. An inert gas, typically argon, protects and cools the tungsten and weld puddle.
All candidates booking onto this course MUST have completed the Welding BS4872 No experience course or demonstrate previous welding experience prior to attending.
